Position: Application Architect - .NET Azure Operational Technology
Location: Hybrid- Toronto Downtown (2 days remote)
Structure: Contract 12 months to start
Pay:Up to $100.00 p/h inc.

We have a great new opportunity to support one of our Energy Sector clients in a contract capacity!

• Architect and design APIs for seamless data integration across platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery and stakeholder satisfaction.
• Leverage Microsoft Azure to architect scalable reliable cloud solutions.
• Design and implement Operation Technologies (OT) to optimize operational efficiency.
• Provide leadership in adopting architecture and design patterns such as microservices and MVC.
• Experience in nuclear / manufacturing industries

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Mathematics or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years experience in solution design and architecture with a proven track record as a Solution Architect or similar role.
• Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure integration platforms API management DevOps SCADA systems and Pi solutions.
• Proficient in architecture and design patterns including microservices and MVC.
• Experienced in transitioning from monolithic to service-based architectures and containerizing applications.
• Skilled with Angular SQL and upgrading legacy systems (Visual Basic 6 Centura Gupta).
• Expertise in data platform development Business Intelligence and Artificial Intelligence.
• Industry certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert SAP Certification Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) or similar are highly desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving strategic thinking communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong ability to collaborate in a team-oriented environment and engage stakeholders at all levels.
