The Field Claims Specialist is responsible for managing moderate to complex property claims, including investigating losses in person, assessing coverage, coordinating experts, and negotiating fair settlements.
The successful candidate will be trusted to manage claims independently while collaborating closely with internal partners and external stakeholders. This role suits an experienced field adjuster who is comfortable making decisions, communicating clearly with insureds, and contributing positively to the broader claims team.

What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Investigating property claims by attending loss sites such as private residences, commercial properties, and farms
- Meeting with insureds, third parties, contractors, and legal representatives to gather facts and assess damages
- Reviewing policy wordings, expert reports, and relevant case law to determine coverage and claim value
- Evaluating losses, setting and adjusting reserves, authorizing payments, and negotiating settlements within assigned authority
- Coordinating internal and external resources to support efficient and fair claim resolution
- Managing escalated files proactively and taking appropriate corrective action when required
- Delivering a consistently high level of service and clear communication throughout the claims process
