School District No. 46 (Sunshine Coast) is hiring Teachers Teaching On‑Call. We are seeking dynamic, enthusiastic individuals who love the lifestyle that the Sunshine Coast has to offer and are looking for the potential to start immediately and / or secure a position for the 2026 / 27 school year. Applicants must hold a valid B.C. Teacher Regulation Branch certificate before starting work in the district.

Applicants with Inclusion Support and / or Math / Science training and experience are in need; however we have opportunities for all grade levels and subjects. About the region : The Sunshine Coast is a spectacular region of British Columbia. Located a short 40‑minute ferry ride from the Vancouver area, our district comprises 13 schools, serving about 3,400 students. The region offers a warm climate, shoreline, views of the Salish Sea, outdoor recreation, arts and cultural activities, and glimpses of whales and bears.

Position Overview

As a Teacher Teaching On Call, you will provide flexible classroom support across grade levels and subjects, stepping in to cover classes as needed.

Requirements

• Valid B.C. Teacher Regulation Branch teaching certificate.
• Experience or training in Inclusion Support and / or Math / Science preferred.
• Ability to work immediately or for the 2026 / 27 school year.
