On behalf of our client, Procom is currently seeking a Strategic Procurement Consultant for a six (6) month engagement based in Burnaby, British Columbia. This client is pleased to offer a remote work model for this position
Strategic Procurement Consultant Job Details
- Prepare the RFX document including scope and detailed requirements, including proposal response workbooks
- Facilitate and prepare scoring guide, provide advice on specific criteria weightings
- Coordinate and consolidate proposal scoring and achieve consensus, including both technical and clinical criteria and financials
- Prepare internal briefing notes and award recommendations for senior leadership
- Support strategy development to negotiate final contract with proponent(s)
- Assist Procom's client with the planning and coordination of the new contract to assure supply across the Province of BC
Strategic Procurement Consultant Mandatory Skills
Ten (10) + years experience executing large and complex procurements across multiple stakeholders with varying prioritiesPublic sector procurement experience desiredExperience using on-line, electronic bid submission solutions an assetA minimum bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, SCMP designation, or equivalent, preferredProject management skills, ability to manage multiple projects at one timeStrategic Procurement Consultant Nice-To-Have Skills
Experience working with the Health Authorities in BCStrategic Procurement Consultant Assignment Length
Six (6) month contract with the potential for two (2) extensions of six (6) months each.
