Job Description

The incumbent gathers all the necessary elements to produce results and analysis related to air revenues.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible to produce monthly, quarterly and annual end of period results and analysis of Air Transat seat revenues in compliance with IFRS standards;
  • Produces and coordinates activities related to the production of financial information for the sector (seat revenues, actual, balance sheet, passenger taxes, deferred revenues, provisions, accounts receivable, etc);
  • Supports, follows up and produces various recurring reports for different analysis (sales and taxes to the different authorities in the South, interline-codeshare transactions, etc.);
  • Supports tthe Director, Air Revenue Control in all external and internal audits;
  • Supports and produces all ad hoc requests addressed to the sector;
  • Performs all other related tasks.

Qualifications

  • Member of the Ordre des CPA ;
  • Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting;
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience;
  • Oral and written fluency in French and English
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel ("Power Query" modeling) and the Microsoft Suite of tools;
  • Excellent knowledge of SAP software;
  • Knowledge of the airline industry will be considered an asset;
  • Knowledge of Revenue Accounting and interline-codeshare will be consider an asset;
  • Ability to work under pressure and within tight deadlines;
  • Outstanding organizational skills;
  • Autonomy, initiative, and accuracy are also sought-after qualities;
  • People-oriented, teamwork and customer service.
  • A good knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec. The incumbent will be required to communicate and collaborate frequently in English, both orally and in writing, with colleagues, customers, and other stakeholders in Quebec, the rest of Canada, and internationally.
