Position DescriptionGrace Community Church Young Adult Ministry DescriptionGCC is actively seeking a committed full-time Young Adult Ministry Pastor to shepherd our Korean-Canadian Young Adult Ministry (ABLE), which presently serves young adults. We seek a devoted and caring follower of Jesus Christ, passionate about leading and nurturing the next generation toward a deeper relationship with Jesus. GCC is part of the Evangelical Free Church of Canada (EFCC) denomination. For more information about the EFCC, please see : efcc.caYoung Adult Ministry Role SummaryABLE Ministry is committed to guiding young adults and college students up to 25 years old, toward deeper maturity and growth in Jesus Christ. Our goal is to develop a ministry that reflects our identity, mission, and values, ensuring that everyone in our church advances on their faith journey.Weekly Duties & Responsibilities Lead and deliver sermons at weekly Sunday services and additional worship gatherings.Lead a weekly prayer meeting for Sunday services.Offer spiritual counseling to young adults.Plan and conduct meetings and events for young adults.Participate in weekly staff meetings.Offer occasional support to adult services. Annual Events Host a summer retreat and leadership retreats.Facilitate mission trips and provide mission training.Conduct a discipleship program for deeper spiritual development.Administrative ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with pastoral staff and leaders for effective ministry planning and execution.Update the annual budget for the upcoming fiscal year. Qualifications A committed believer and disciple of Jesus Christ.A genuine calling to love and serve young adults.Preferred : At least 3 years of experience in relevant ministry.Holds a degree from an accredited seminary (MA in Christian Studies or M.Div).Eligible to legally work and live in Canada.Able to preach both in Korean and in English.
