Position Summary

Reporting to the Communications Manager, the Communications Designer will provide support to the Communications Department and District School Board Ontario North East (DSB1) schools.

• support the Communications Officer by completing administrative tasks and implementing strategies for internal and external communications.
• Support the Board and DSB1 schools in creating systems and content for family engagement and community outreach, across several platforms.

All communications will be aligned with the vision, mission and priorities of DSB1 in keeping with the visual identity standards of the Board, the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA), and the Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (MFIPPA).

Salary : In accordance with the current non-union compensation schedule - $79,483.82 per year
