Installer/Fitter

GAGNÉ MÉTAL is seeking a qualified candidate to lead our installation team. The selected candidate must demonstrate initiative and a strong sense of responsibility to install staircases, balconies, and railings according to provided plans and prefabricated components, while also being capable of performing welding work.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of team management experience (mandatory)

• Minimum 5 years of experience in construction and renovation (mandatory)

• Valid CCQ card or eligibility/prequalification to obtain a CCQ card, required to work on various job sites in the Greater Montréal area

Required Skills

• Strong ability to work as part of a team

• Positive attitude and initiative

• Autonomous decision-making skills, adapted to on-site situations

• Proficiency in English is an asset

Working Conditions

• Competitive compensation based on experience, in accordance with the CCQ wage scale, up to $45.00/hour

• Additional benefits offered

• Full-time position, 40 hours per week

• Schedule: 8-hour days (6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.), Monday to Friday

• Location: Montréal, QC H1E 3R2

• Candidate must be able to commute to the work location or be willing to relocate prior to starting (mandatory)
