Salary : $60,000-75,000 (based on experience)

Were looking for a friendly and dedicated Finance Manager to oversee accounting operations for a portfolio of professional services clients, with a strong preference for experience supporting law firms. The Finance Managerworks with assigned clients to oversee, record, process, and reconcile financial data based on assigned needs as well as manages their assigned Bookkeepers for their role and deliverables. The ideal candidate is an energetic individual who likes to juggle a variety of tasks and would thrive in our fast-paced environment!

The Finance Manager role will perform the following expected outcomes accurately and within a timely manner but is not limited to :

• Oversee month-end close and financial reporting
• Review work prepared by bookkeepers and senior accountants
• Act as escalation point for complex accounting issues
• Manage and oversee trust accounting and reconciliations (legal clients)
• Communicate directly with client owners and partners
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and professional standards
• Support process improvement and SOP adherence

Our company is a team of thirty Bookkeepers and Accountants who work cohesively to provide small and medium sized businesses with amazing back end financial support. Numbercrunch supports employees with a fun and relaxed hybrid working environment, regular social events, work-life balance, and a team of supportive colleagues. This job requires you to come into our lovely Kanata office four days a week (Monday,Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday)and Fridays you get to work from home! Our working hours are 9-5 (no overtime is expected!)
