Title : Software Developer

Location : MARKHAM, Ontario

Duration : 6 Months

Introduction

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role requires expertise in digital platforms and a strong focus on delivering quality outcomes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, quality of code, and compliance with standards within our platform.

Required Skills & Qualifications

8-10 years of experience in software development
Proficiency in Python and Snowflake
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

Experience with technical governance and compliance

Knowledge of security and system performance fundamentals

Familiarity with continuous improvement processes

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Perform analysis, development, and technical governance across both Run and Change

Define technical specifications and implement solutions in line with digital platform strategy

Drive continuous improvement through technical and process innovation

Manage performance and availability including system health checks and disaster recovery planning

Identify and implement service improvements and software upgrades

Engage in stakeholder management with business and IT colleagues

Ensure compliance with architecture standards and manage risks effectively
