Executive Assistant job opening in Markham, ON

We are currently seeking top talent for a fantastic Executive Assistant job opening in Markham, Ontario in the corporate office of a medical setting. In this full-time, interim opportunity, you will be responsible for providing a high level of executive administrative support to the executive(s) and leadership team with various support functions. As an experienced Executive Assistant, you will use your skills and experience to provide executive level support functions while multi-tasking and prioritizing the work and needs at hand. If you are a hardworking, passionate and motivated Executive Assistant who is available to support our client on an urgent, interim basis, then this may be the opportunity that you have been waiting for!

The Executive Assistant job opening in Markham, ON may include but are not limited to :

  • Provide high level calendar management with emphasis on proactive planning, scheduling internal and external client meetings
  • Prepare agendas, attend the meetings and take minutes
  • Draft and prepare correspondence, emails, reports and create presentations with detail and timeliness
  • Manage expenses, enter and process expense reports with accuracy
  • Support, maintain the electronic and hard copy filing system
  • Communicating with internal and external parties via phone, in-person and email maintaining a professional and confidential demeanor
  • Assisting with special projects and other duties when needed.

Some of the skills and qualifications for this Executive Assistant job opening in Markham, ON include :

  • At least 5+ years of direct Executive Assistant experience (VP level + support preferred) – preference to those with experience in a medical / healthcare arena
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills – Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; strengths in drafting communications on behalf of the team
  • Flexible and positive attitude, open to various tasks that could come up in a smaller, team-bases setting
  • A positive, can-do and self-motivated worker with the ability to work together as a team
  • A high level of trust and discretion at all times; strong and confident personality to keep to the business functions of the role
  • Someone who flourishes in a diverse workplace and takes pride in their role within the team / organization.
