We are looking for a detail-oriented Front Desk Coordinator to join our team in Toronto, Ontario. This long-term contract position requires someone who thrives in a customer-facing role and is dedicated to delivering exceptional administrative and customer service support. As part of the dynamic retail industry, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and employees, ensuring a welcoming and efficient environment.
Responsibilities :
- Serve as the primary receptionist, greeting visitors, executives, and employees with courtesy and warmth.
- Manage incoming inquiries and direct them to the appropriate departments or personnel.
- Oversee administrative tasks such as tracking data sets and preparing monthly reports, including graphing data for presentations.
- Ensure all visitors are signed in and provided with necessary information or assistance.
- Maintain a detail-oriented front desk area.
- Adhere to the dress code policy by dressing appropriately for daily responsibilities and interactions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support operational needs and ensure smooth workflows.
- Monitor attendance and punctuality, ensuring timely service to the business.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Assist in creating and organizing presentations for managerial review.
- Previous experience in customer service and administrative roles.
- Strong communication skills with an attentive and courteous demeanour.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and prioritize responsibilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other office software.
- Familiarity with data tracking and report preparation.
- Commitment to punctuality and reliability.
- Adherence to appropriate dress and conduct standards.
- Capability to handle background checks as required for the position.
