Permanent Full‑Time (37.5 hours)

Sunday to Thursday 10 : 15 pm – 6 : 15 am

The Machine Operator operates a variety of machinery used in the nutraceutical industry. Responsibilities may include setup, tear‑down, operating, cleaning, sanitizing and troubleshooting machines. The job holder is required to take instruction, work independently or as part of a team to ensure both the quality and quantity of manufactured products. The position requires the candidate to be clean‑shaven (no facial hair) to ensure a proper respirator fit and to comply with safety protocols, including WorkSafeBC regulations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre‑operational checks on equipment
• Monitor the machine during operation and perform in‑process checks, making adjustments as necessary
• Perform troubleshooting tasks during production
• Operate machinery such as blenders, tableting / encapsulation / coating machines and mobile equipment
• Dissemble, clean, sanitize, assemble machine and auxiliary equipment; work in clean rooms
• Perform general maintenance of machinery, including care of machine parts and tooling
