Nanny Wanted - Looking For An Experienced Family Assistant/Manager In Langley, Bc

We are a two-physician family looking for a caring, dependable, and organized family assistant to help care for our two children, ages 4 and 7, and support the day-to-day running of our home. This is a long-term role for someone who enjoys children, takes initative, and finds satisfaction in keeping a household organized. Hours: Monday to Friday, approximately 7 a.m.–5 p.m., with flexibility for the right person (we can schedule around school hours). Given our work as physicians, reliability and clear communication are especially important to our family. Our 7-year-old attends school full time, and our 4-year-old attends school three days per week. Responsibilities will vary throughout the day, with childcare taking priority when the children are home and household tasks taking place during school hours. Responsibili..... include: • Helping with morning routines and getting the children ready for school. • Taking children to and from school and extracurricular activities. • Providing warm, attentive care and encouraging independence and positive behaviour. • Engaging the children in reading, age-appropriate academic activities, creative play, sports, and outdoor activities. • Preparing meals and snacks for the children. • Managing household tasks, including tidying, laundry, dishes. • Planning and preparing family meals. • Grocery shopping, running errands, and replenishing household supplies when time permits • Helping organize the children’s belongings, schedules, and supplies for school and activities. We are looking for someone who: • Has experience caring for young children and can provide strong references. • Is warm, patient, energetic, and reliable. • Is organized, takes initiative, and works independently. • Communicates clearly and is comfortable adapting to changing family needs. • Enjoys cooking and managing household responsibilities. • Has a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record. • Has current first aid and CPR certification, or is willing to obtain it • We are a Christian family and are looking for someone who respects our faith and supports the values we aim to nurture in our children, including kindness, honesty, compassion, gratitude, and respect for others.
