We're looking for a skilled Telehandler Operator to join a growing construction team on a major multi-family residential project in the Surrey/Langley area. What You'll Be Doing

• Safely operate a Telehandler on an active construction site.
• Transport and distribute materials throughout the project efficiently and safely.
• Deliver materials to elevated work areas, including upper floors of the building.
• Coordinate delivery requests using a mobile scheduling application.
• Complete daily equipment inspections and report maintenance concerns.
• Work closely with site supervisors, tradespeople, and project teams to keep operations running smoothly.
• Assist with material handling and general site support when equipment operation is not required.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Valid Telehandler certification/ticket.
• Minimum 2 years of Telehandler operating experience.
• Experience operating equipment with capacities up to 10,000 lbs.
• Experience with extended-reach Telehandlers, such as JCB 12K (66-foot reach) or similar equipment.
• Strong understanding of construction site safety procedures and best practices.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Smartphone with data plan for site communication and scheduling.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the site team.

Preferred Experience

• Multi-family residential or commercial construction experience.
• Experience working in busy, congested, or tight-access construction environments.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• A willingness to jump in and support the team with labour duties when needed.

Work Environment

• Location: Surrey/Langley, BC
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• Outdoor construction environment with active trades and equipment.
• Fast-paced site with ongoing material deliveries and tight working spaces.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Langley, BC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $34.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
