Medical Writer - CME Agency

Job description :

The medical writer is responsible for the development and creation of a full range of strategic medical communications, medical education and medical publications, in digital and traditional media, for health professionals and consumers. In this role, you will collaborate with internal and external experts to help identify medical communication needs and develop educational solutions with quality content to fill educational gaps. The successful candidate will also identify business opportunities and suggest solutions to potential customers. Our client is looking for a motivated and determined medical writer. Past experience in program development, as well as entrepreneurial and leadership qualities will contribute significantly to the candidate's success.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Develop and edit scientific content for continuing medical education activities, print and online, including symposia, websites, slides and incorporate changes to the book.
• Discuss with the academic body, the program management and the graphic department to develop the content and design to ensure editorial accuracy, clarity and quality.
• Develop and manage relationships between opinion leaders, health professionals and field representatives to support program strategy and gather information.
• Coordinate / liaise with accredited continuing medical education (CME) partners (American, Canadian, universities and associations).

Skills and qualifications :

• At least 3 years of experience in relevant medical writing (mandatory)
• University degree (compulsory); PhD or MSc in health sciences
• Excellent research, strategic and tactical skills with writing skills
• Knowledge of medical terminologies or experience with CMEs
• The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, work and meet deadlines and multiple tasks
• Expertise in research, compilation and analysis of clinical and scientific evidence
• Proven skills in project management
• Excellent writing, presentation and communication skills
• Bilingualism (French and English: fluency in French is expected)
• Technological knowledge (internet and multimedia)
