Our client is seeking a IT Procurement Advisor to support strategic sourcing and supply chain management for IT (software, hardware, professional services and contingent labor)

This role requires someone in office 2 days/per week in Calgary or Saskatoon, 6 month contract to start

Must have:

• 5+ years of relevant experience in procurement and supply chain management, including 3+ years in strategic sourcing
• Experience with at least two of the following areas: IT hardware/software, value-added reseller (VAR) contracts, managed/consulting services, contingent workforce)
• Experience managing the end-to-end IT procurement lifecycle, including strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, contract management, forecasting, risk management, and supplier relationships.
• Experience Source to contract (S2C) and Procure to Pay (P2P) process
• Experience some of the follow tools: (SAP/Oracle), spend management tools (Ariba, Analysis and Reports) and lifecycle management tools (CLM) (ie Icertis or similar)

Nice to have:

• Advanced MS Excel skills, PowerBI, and dashboarding experience
• Experience in other corporate procurement areas such as HR, Legal, Finance, H&S
• Contract negotiation
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field
• Certifications in disciplines such as Procurement (SCMP/CPSM), Lean / Six Sigma, or Operational Planning

What you will do:

• Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans for IT and Commercial procurement categories, including software, hardware, consulting and professional services, and contingent workforce.
• Conduct supplier negotiations, market research, and due diligence to support sourcing decisions and favorable contract terms.
• Develop RFx packages, coordinate stakeholder reviews and evaluations, analyze supplier proposals, and provide supplier selection recommendations.
• Develop contracts, prepare executive summaries, coordinate approvals and signatures, and manage contracts and amendments through procurement and contract management systems.
• Analyze and manage indirect spend data from SAP ECC and Oracle to support spend strategy, forecasting, savings, compliance, and procurement reporting.
• Support the improvement and adoption of SAP Ariba CLM, Supplier Portal, and Source-to-Pay (S2P) processes and tools.
• Monitor contract and spend compliance, savings, and supplier performance, and resolve invoicing and payment issues.
• Partner with Corporate Procurement leadership, IT, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Legal, and other business stakeholders to support procurement initiatives, process improvements, and sourcing strategy development.
