Location: Barrie

Pay Rate: per hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8: AM – 4: PM
Job Type: Temporary to Permanent (after 3 months)
Start Date: Monday – Immediate Start Required

We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Production Helper to join our client's team. The successful candidate will assist with general shop floor duties, outdoor yard work, and shipping and receiving operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with general production and shop floor activities.

• Perform outdoor yard work as required. Outdoor duties may vary depending on daily operational needs and weather conditions.

• Move and bring materials into the shop.

• Assist with shipping and receiving operations.

• Operate a counterbalance (CB) forklift.

• Use various hand tools for daily tasks.

• Perform heavy lifting and material handling.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Previous experience in a production, warehouse, or general labour environment is an asset.

• Forklift (Counterbalance/CB) operating experience is required.

• Comfortable using hand tools.

• Physically capable of heavy lifting and performing manual labour.

• Must be flexible and comfortable working both indoors and outdoors.

• Good English communication skills (verbal and comprehension) are required.

• Reliable, hardworking, and able to work independently and as part of a team.

Please note: This is a hands-on position that involves a combination of indoor shop duties and outdoor yard work. Candidates must be flexible and willing to work outdoors for varying portions of the day, depending on operational requirements and weather conditions.
