Lead essential thrift store routines at The Salvation Army in Dartmouth, using communication, merchandise handling, and customer service skills.
This regular full-time Shift Supervisor works in the Salvation Army store at 125 Main Street, Dartmouth. The position supports uninterrupted service and acts as a Sales Associate when needed. Responsibilities span store opening and closing, inventory control, displays, cleaning, and donor service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Open and close the store according to procedures
- Receive, sort, price, and reconcile donated inventory
- Replenish shelves and remove merchandise as directed
- Assist with window and merchandise displays
- Provide on-the-job training for staff when required
Requirements:
- Some high school completed
- Two years in a store or warehouse environment
- Attention to detail in merchandise and inventory tasks
- Team-oriented interpersonal and communication abilities
- Compliance with health and safety policies
