Design PLC and DCS controls for HRSG and OTSG equipment as a full-time Automation Engineer supporting projects and customer sites. Commission systems, troubleshoot equipment, and verify performance.
Innovative Steam Technologies seeks an Automation Engineer responsible for control system design, development, implementation, and commissioning. You will create documentation, coordinate automation activities, and ensure compliance with specifications, customer requirements, codes, and company standards. The role reports to the Assistant GM and supports installed equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop PLC and DCS strategies and programming
- Maintain P&IDs, schematics, logic diagrams, and narratives
- Coordinate automation activities across project phases
- Perform FAT, SAT, HAT, and CAT verification
- Commission, troubleshoot, and performance-test customer equipment
Requirements:
- Degree or diploma in a relevant engineering discipline
- Minimum five years industrial automation experience
- PLC and DCS programming, integration, and commissioning experience
- Control documentation development and review experience
- Industrial equipment testing and troubleshooting experience
