Retail Inventory Merchandiser

Keep retail inventory accurate and accessible through organized backroom processes, receiving, and product placement at a locally owned store. Customer service remains central.

This Merchandiser manages assigned product areas, expiry dates, returns, and store presentation. Daily duties include receiving goods, maintaining documentation, and supporting Front Store management with quality standards. Success requires planning, judgment, organization, and flexibility across changing sales-floor situations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage Exit Strategy and Product Return as directed
• Maintain neat, organized backroom product and documentation
• Ensure displays remain consumer focused and shoppable
• Support Front Store Manager with store quality standards
• Follow health, safety, loss prevention, and Store Standards

Requirements:

• Planning, judgment, and decision-making abilities
• Efficiency, organization, and neatness in daily work
• Ability to cope with changing sales-floor situations
• Accuracy and efficiency with cash responsibilities, if applicable
• Flexible availability for nights and weekends

Use inventory control, receiving, and merchandising expertise to protect product standards and support customers throughout the store.
