Design AI agent frameworks with Python and large language models at Huawei Canada in a permanent research position. Explore advanced architectures and developer tooling.
As a Researcher, you will contribute to Huawei’s proprietary open-source agent framework within the Distributed Data Storage and Management Lab. Your work covers architectural evolution, module abstraction, toolchain construction, developer experience optimization, and agent deployment across toB and toC products. You will also study emerging projects, including OpenClaw and Hermes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop the proprietary open-source agent framework
- Build modules, toolchains, and developer experience improvements
- Analyze OpenClaw and Hermes architectures, capabilities, and innovations
- Implement self-evolving and multi-agent architectures
- Deploy the framework across toB and toC products
Requirements:
- Master’s degree or higher in a related field
- Strong programming skills and proficiency with Python
- Familiarity with asynchronous programming and type systems
- Understanding of large language models and prompt engineering
- Experience with an agent framework such as LangChain
