Heavy Equipment Service Technician

Support equipment readiness in a dusty, physically demanding Abbotsford workplace through servicing, inspections, and minor repairs. Work is fully on site.

This permanent full-time position is based at 3545 Galiano Drive, Abbotsford, British Columbia. You will clean and lubricate equipment, refill tanks, check operating readiness, and secure special attachments. The work also includes maintaining logs and using two-way radios or other communication equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct pre-operational checks before equipment use
• Clean and lubricate operating equipment
• Refill equipment tanks when needed
• Secure special attachments to equipment
• Perform minor repairs and complete logs

Requirements:

• Secondary school graduation certificate
• Two to less than three years of experience
• Comfort working in dusty conditions
• Capacity for physically demanding work
• Authorization to work in Canada
