Hotel Housekeeping Associate Oyster Bay

Deliver polished guest rooms at Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Oyster Bay, BC, using detailed cleaning and guest-service skills. This full-time position includes flexible shifts.

Reporting to the Housekeeping Supervisor, the Housekeeping Associate professionally cleans assigned guest rooms, corridors, and storage areas. The work supports Microtel’s required standards of cleanliness, presentation, and guest stays. Success requires attention to detail, communication, teamwork, and quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean guest rooms, corridors, and storage areas to required standards
• Replenish guest supplies, amenities, advertising materials, and linen
• Vacuum rooms, make beds, and disinfect bathrooms thoroughly
• Restock carts, caddies, closets, and storage areas
• Report maintenance, security, defective equipment, and lost items

Requirements:

• One to two years of similar work experience
• Previous hotel experience considered an asset
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills
• High School Diploma or GED; flexibility for shifts and weekends
