Senior Internal Audit Manager Alberta

Lead risk-focused internal audits for WCB-Alberta in Edmonton or Calgary, applying governance, controls, and analytical expertise to organizational decisions.

As a Senior Management Auditor reporting to the Chief Internal Auditor, you will support assurance audits and advisory engagements. You will assess business processes, evaluate risks and controls, and provide practical recommendations. The work supports effective governance, sound risk management, and continuous improvement across WCB-Alberta.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and complete risk-focused audit and advisory engagements
• Assess processes, risks, controls, and information across business areas
• Formulate practical advice and recommendations for senior leaders
• Communicate observations clearly and build organizational relationships
• Support Audit Committee and Senior Management requests

Requirements:

• Degree or diploma in a related discipline
• Minimum three years of progressive related experience
• Experience leading complex audits and advisory engagements
• Knowledge of governance, risk management, controls, and methodology
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills and audit software aptitude
