Restaurant Manager - Quick Service Restaurant

Description

• Take full ownership of daily restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, operational efficiency and consistent execution of brand standards.

• Lead, coach and develop a diverse team, creating a positive, respectful and performance-driven workplace culture.

• Build an engaged and accountable team through effective communication, recognition, training and ongoing feedback.

• Oversee scheduling, staffing, recruitment, onboarding and employee development to ensure the restaurant operates effectively.

• Drive sales, profitability and operational performance through disciplined execution, cost management and attention to detail.

• Maintain high standards of food quality, cleanliness, food safety and guest service.

• Ensure established operating procedures, brand expectations and compliance requirements are consistently followed.

• Take a hands-on approach to leadership, supporting the team during busy periods and stepping in to cover shifts when necessary.

• Identify opportunities to improve productivity, employee engagement, guest satisfaction and overall restaurant performance.

• Work collaboratively with the owners, bringing forward ideas, solutions and initiatives that support long-term success.

Requirements

• Proven restaurant management experience within a quick-service restaurant (QSR) environment.

• A strong sense of ownership and personal accountability, with the confidence to manage all aspects of restaurant operations.

• Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate and develop diverse, multigenerational teams.

• A hands-on, approachable leadership style that balances empathy, professionalism and clear expectations.

• Strong operational discipline with exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to consistent brand execution.

• Experience managing staffing, scheduling, labour costs, inventory and restaurant performance.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt to different personalities and workplace expectations.

• A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset and the flexibility to respond to the changing demands of a busy restaurant.

• A genuine passion for hospitality, guest service and creating an environment where employees feel valued and supported.

• The willingness to lead by example and step in to support restaurant operations when needed.

Corporate Culture

• Starting base salary of approximately $57,000, depending on experience.
