You carry a portfolio of hematology trial sites from qualification to close-out, and you own what happens at them. This is a working monitoring role, not an oversight layer: you sit with the source documents, you know the coordinators by name, and when something at a site is about to become a problem, you are the person who saw it a month early.
Responsibilities
Conduct the full visit lifecycle — qualification, initiation, interim monitoring, and close-out — and manage your sites between visits
Verify entered data against source records for accuracy, completeness, and patient safety, raising and resolving queries in the EDC
Review informed consent documentation and subject safety information at every pass
Surface protocol deviations early, document them plainly, and see corrective action through
Assess and train site staff on protocol adherence where the site needs it
Maintain investigational product oversight end to end: receipt, storage conditions, accountability, and return or destruction
Keep site documentation flowing into the Trial Master File as the study runs, not after it ends
Mentor newer CRAs — including accompanied visits for assessment and training — as the team grows
Qualifications
Two or more years of monitoring experience as a Clinical Research Associate
Hands‑on experience in hematologic malignancies; broader oncology depth strengthens a candidacy
A four-year degree, or RN/BSN
Written and spoken English at the standard your visit reports will be judged by
Organized, exact, and effective without supervision — your sites are yours
Fluent across CTMS, EDC platforms, and Microsoft Office
