Assistant Supervisor Early Childhood Education

Lead early childhood education operations as an Assistant Supervisor with organizational, planning, and program facilitation skills. Work permanent full time, 37.5 hours weekly, on rotating shifts.

Reporting to the Supervisor, you will support Centre operations and curriculum delivery. The position promotes quality care, safe environments, family relationships, and sound financial processes. You will coach educators, model policies, and support children’s learning through inquiry-based programs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support curriculum delivery aligned with organizational philosophy
• Model legislation, regulations, policies, and procedures
• Build professional relationships with families and community partners
• Coach, motivate, guide, and manage educator performance
• Maintain physically and emotionally safe workplace practices

Requirements:

• College diploma or university degree in Early Childhood Education
• Good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators
• Minimum two years of RECE experience
• Current Intermediate First Aid and CPR Level C
• Knowledge of Child Care and Early Years Act
