Illinois Licensed TeleNurse

To support patient care, the full-time Illinois Licensed TeleNurse will triage incoming patient calls, provide guidance on health concerns, and serve as a patient advocate in a hybrid working environment. Key responsibilities Apply the Nursing Process to assess and triage patients effectively over the phone Identify emergencies and recommend appropriate interventions, including facilitating transport when necessary Document patient interactions and maintain statistical data in accordance with established guidelines Required qualifications Current Illinois RN license and graduation from an accredited nursing program Minimum of three years of clinical experience in an acute ambulatory or acute care setting Experience in emergency room or home health settings is preferred Basic typing skills at 40 wpm or greater and intermediate computer skills Ability to work every other weekend and 4-5 recognized holidays per year
