Commercial Banking Credit Associate

Support Scotiabank’s Canadian Commercial Banking clients in Langley through credit underwriting, portfolio monitoring, and financial statement analysis.

This Credit Solutions Associate assignment partners with Client Relationship Managers across Commercial Banking Distribution. The focus includes Growth Segment and less complex Core clients. You will help manage financial reporting, funding requirements, onboarding needs, and escalated client challenges while maintaining accurate documentation and timely credit support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with Relationship Managers on commercial client portfolios
• Analyze statements, credit reports, and supporting documentation
• Spread financial statements, projections, and borrowing bases
• Manage credit risk portfolios under Bank policies
• Maintain organized, accessible, compliant documentation

Requirements:

• Degree or equivalent work experience in a related field
• Strong understanding of financial statements and credit analysis
• Knowledge of credit structures and applicable risk practices
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy
• Ability to collaborate with clients and internal partners
