Formulation Development Research Technician

Support lipid nanoparticle formulation development at Acuitas Therapeutics in Vancouver through laboratory organization, buffer preparation, and routine analysis.

This Research Technician or Assistant works predominantly in the laboratory under a Research Scientist, Formulation Development. The position supports pilot LNP formulations, formulation workflows, inventory, equipment, and collaborative analytics. You will help prepare materials for internal programs, external programs, partners, and collaborators.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain a clean, organized Formulation Development laboratory
• Prepare buffer stocks and check pH and endotoxin
• Run endotoxin analytics on buffers, water drums, and samples
• Support scale-up, mini-TFF processes, and formulation aliquoting
• Perform routine TNS, Ribogreen, and DLS analysis

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science degree
• Zero to two years of laboratory experience
• Excellent bench skills and attention to detail
• Ability to master new techniques quickly
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
