Oracle PL SQL Database Developer

Build Oracle SQL and PL/SQL solutions at ALS, developing database-driven applications and integrations for business systems and operational processes.

ALS seeks a Database Developer for its software and technology team. You will develop, enhance, and maintain Oracle database objects, application functionality, and data workflows. The work connects databases, applications, and business processes through practical technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Oracle SQL queries and PL/SQL packages
• Build database-driven functionality, business logic, and data workflows
• Maintain integrations with applications, services, and external systems
• Analyze execution plans and improve database performance
• Investigate issues and implement reliable technical fixes

Requirements:

• Three to five or more years database development experience
• Oracle certification in SQL, PL/SQL, or database development
• Strong hands-on Oracle SQL and PL/SQL experience
• Understanding of relational databases, transactions, indexing, and optimization
• Experience with application integration, testing, debugging, and documentation
