Protect patients, visitors, and staff as a Security Guard at Niagara Health’s Port Colborne Hospital on continental day or night shifts. Use patrol and incident-reporting skills.
Paladin Security seeks a contract Security Guard for six months at this community healthcare facility. The position supports a safe, welcoming environment through access monitoring, camera and alarm operation, conflict de-escalation, emergency response, and collaboration with hospital personnel and local law enforcement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patrol hospital grounds, hallways, rooms, entrances, and exits
- Monitor entry points, cameras, alarms, and restricted access
- Assist patients, visitors, and staff with directions
- De-escalate conflicts calmly and professionally
- Respond to emergencies, alarms, incidents, and evacuations
Requirements:
- Valid Ontario Security Guard License
- Valid First Aid and CPR Level C certification
- At least one year healthcare security or law enforcement experience
- High School Diploma or GED
- Fluent spoken and written English
