Lead Microsoft Fabric and OneLake engineering for trusted analytics, reporting and AI in a flexible working environment at the Government Recruitment Service.
As Lead Data Platform Engineer, you will shape how the agency receives and uses information. You will provide technical leadership, set engineering standards, guide complex decisions and develop the data engineering team. The platform supports secure, scalable and reliable services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Microsoft Fabric and OneLake technical development and assurance
- Establish reusable components, testing, DataOps, CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code
- Define data movement across Dynamics 365, Dataverse and Azure services
- Enable analytics, reporting, AI and machine learning solutions
- Embed data governance, security, quality, lineage and access standards
Requirements:
- Expertise in data platform engineering and technical leadership
- Experience guiding complex technical decisions and engineering standards
- Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric and OneLake platforms
- Ability to work with architecture, delivery and supplier teams
- Experience leading, managing and developing data engineers
Shape Microsoft Fabric, OneLake, DataOps and governance practices while developing the Government Recruitment Service data engineering capability.
