Junior Construction Purchasing Agent

Use construction materials knowledge as a Junior Purchasing Agent supporting multi-residential developments across Western Canada. Coordinate purchasing, vendors, and deliveries.

Seymour Pacific Developments seeks a junior-level Purchasing Agent for its construction purchasing team. Your background may include construction sales, retail hardware, or materials coordination. You will review quotes, compare pricing, create purchase orders, and support estimators and site teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Purchase and distribute materials and supplies for construction
• Review quotes and compare pricing for purchasing decisions
• Create purchase orders and obtain budget pricing
• Coordinate deliveries and storage with construction sites
• Resolve incorrect or delayed shipment issues

Requirements:

• Construction materials, tools, and building product familiarity
• Communication skills with suppliers, trades, and construction teams
• Organizational and time management skills
• Familiarity with quotes, orders, and basic documentation
• Ability to work independently and take initiative
