Support IT projects through data migration and requirements analysis as a Business Analyst in Edmonton, Alberta, with remote candidates considered.
This one-year contract supports multiple IT projects and requires close collaboration with business and technical stakeholders. You will gather and translate business needs into functional requirements, analyze processes, coordinate testing, and support implementation. The work demands organization, analytical thinking, and priority management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather, document, and translate business requirements
- Support data mapping, validation, and migration documentation
- Analyze and improve business processes and workflows
- Develop test plans and coordinate user acceptance testing
- Track issues and facilitate business sign-off
Requirements:
- Demonstrated Business Analyst experience supporting IT projects
- Experience with data migration and requirements
- Strong process analysis and documentation skills
- Experience coordinating UAT and software testing
- Ability to manage business and technical stakeholders
