Senior Building Mechanical Engineer

Apply mechanical engineering expertise to building systems, codes, and technical guidance while supporting projects across institutional, commercial, and industrial sectors.

As a Senior Mechanical Building Systems Engineer, you will work closely with the Engineering Director and guide designers and drafters. Your work will support project development, plan preparation, mechanical design, and problem-solving. You will also contribute to department improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support design teams with codes, standards, tools, and work methods
• Advise projects during development and plan preparation
• Participate in mechanical design and problem-solving
• Support construction and post-implementation follow-up departments
• Improve mechanical department methods and tools

Requirements:

• French fluency required, orally and in writing
• Mechanical engineering degree or building systems technical diploma
• At least ten years in building mechanical systems
• Strong knowledge of Quebec and Canadian building standards
• English proficiency and availability for travel within Canada
