Work locally around Kingston, Ontario, assisting UPS drivers with walking deliveries, package pickups, and customer service. No driving is required.
This part-time seasonal UPS position supports package drivers at drop boxes and customer locations. You will perform continual lifting, lowering, carrying, and walking while applying UPS package handling and delivery methods. Workdays are Monday through Friday, with start times between 10:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Shifts typically last three to five hours, and operational needs can change daily. Applicants must work up to 25 hours each week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the UPS driver at assigned local meeting points
- Carry packages during neighborhood delivery routes
- Complete UPS package pickups efficiently
- Serve customers through efficient package delivery
- Execute UPS handling and delivery methods properly
Requirements:
- Ability to walk packages to delivery locations
- Capacity to lift 70 pounds without assistance
- Availability for variable operational schedules
- Comfort working outdoors in every weather condition
- Strong customer service ability
