Paralegal Contract Risk Management

Review contracts and assess contractual risk transfer as a Paralegal, Risk Management Services professional with Intact Public Entities on a hybrid basis.

This temporary position supports Intact Public Entities’ Risk Management Services team. You will examine agreements for municipalities, schools, and community service organizations. The work covers indemnification, insurance requirements, legislative developments, legal research, and practical client guidance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review contracts from risk management and insurance perspectives
• Assess indemnification, insurance requirements, and contractual risk transfer
• Monitor legislative changes affecting clients
• Research and write legal articles and case briefs
• Develop templates and educational resources with consultants

Requirements:

• Licensed Paralegal in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario
• At least eight years reviewing contracts and agreements
• Understanding of insurance principles and contractual obligations
• Strong research, analytical, and communication skills
• Sound judgment and exceptional attention to detail
