Amazon Area Manager Early Career

Lead Amazon Associates in Canada while developing communication and people-management skills inside a fulfillment center or operations building. This full-time role requires floor-based leadership.

As an early-career Area Manager, you will engage, mentor, and motivate teams across Amazon’s Operations network. You will manage daily performance, safety, quality, attendance, and productivity while solving real operational challenges. Extensive training supports your development as a people leader.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support, mentor, and motivate 50–100 direct-report Amazon Associates
• Lead shift huddles and communicate safety priorities
• Adjust staffing and resources as priorities change
• Coach team members and partner with support teams
• Review performance data and complete shift handoffs

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree completed before your first day
• Current enrollment in supply chain, business, management, engineering, or related studies
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 49 pounds
