Help create an inclusive classroom at Upper Canada Child Care through Individual Support Plans, child supervision, and family communication.
This temporary Accommodation Support Facilitator position supports St. Thomas Aquinas CES in Keswick. You will assist teachers, strengthen classroom ratios, and help deliver programs meeting Ministry of Education requirements. The fully in-centre schedule includes part-time, 15-hour weeks and three-hour split shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain programs aligned with Ministry and organizational requirements
- Support Individual Support Plan implementation collaboratively
- Provide information to parents and encourage family engagement
- Observe pedagogical documentation for program development
- Complete meal, toileting, diapering, dressing, and classroom duties
Requirements:
- Health assessment and legislated immunization records
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Professional conflict resolution and problem-solving skills
- Physical and emotional stamina supervising children outdoors
- Computer ability, including Dayforce and Storypark
Use inclusive practice, child-development knowledge, and professional communication to support successful programming at St. Thomas Aquinas CES.
