Operate Class 1 tractor-trailer combinations with New Way Trucking across Canada and the United States. Accurate logs and safety checks are essential.
New Way Trucking is seeking experienced Class 1 Owner Operators for multi-provincial transportation. You will haul freight for prominent Fortune 500 companies while communicating with customers, dispatch, managers, and safety. The company provides dispatch support, fuel cards, and discounted insurance and plates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate Class 1 tractor-trailer combinations
- Communicate effectively with customers and dispatch
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date log books
- Perform inspections and safety checks
- Accommodate dispatch requests
Requirements:
- Class 1 or equivalent driver’s license
- Minimum one year of driving experience
- Driver abstract with no more than two demerits
- Familiarity with Reefer and Dry Van trailers
- Truck no older than seven years, passing shop inspection
