Electrical manufacturing process engineering awaits at Jamesway Chick Master headquarters in Cambridge, Ontario, with on-site work and responsibility for production optimization.
This Electrical Engineer reports to the Manufacturing Engineer Manager and improves processes for electrical components and systems. Responsibilities include throughput, defect reduction, production metrics, compliance, and corrective actions. The position also supports electrical assembly training and New Product Introduction activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Optimize electrical manufacturing processes and improve throughput
- Lead root cause analysis for production issues
- Implement corrective and preventive production actions
- Evaluate automation and tooling upgrades
- Analyze metrics for cost reduction opportunities
Requirements:
- Electrical engineering or related bachelor’s or master’s degree
- Three to five years of relevant manufacturing experience
- CAD familiarity, including AutoCAD or SolidWorks
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
