Senior Electrical Power Systems Engineer

This senior Electrical Engineer position provides technical leadership within CEM Engineering. You will design electrical systems, lead engineers and designers, and manage project performance. Work spans high- and medium-voltage protection, controls, generation, and distributed energy projects. The position supports concepts, construction documents, commissioning, proposals, and business development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design safe, reliable, economical, quality electrical systems
• Lead engineers and designers across energy projects
• Develop concepts through construction documents and commissioning
• Plan, track, and forecast electrical project performance
• Support proposals, business development, and design guidelines

Requirements:

• Electrical Engineering degree and 10+ years relevant experience
• Ontario Professional Engineer registration in good standing
• High- and medium-voltage protection and controls experience
• Power system studies using ETAP or EasyPower
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and project leadership skills
