Senior Embedded C++ Developer Fortinet

Build Fortinet security products through C/C++ development, testing, and troubleshooting across the full embedded software development cycle.

As a Senior Embedded Developer, you will develop key FortiAnalyzer components supporting performance and scalability for security log data analysis. You will contribute to design, new features, database performance, and software maintenance. The work involves distributed security systems, Unix/Linux environments, and SIEM development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, design, and test Fortinet product software
• Fix bugs through hands-on troubleshooting
• Maintain and document code using source control
• Tune performance and support implemented software or firmware
• Implement new features according to identified specifications

Requirements:

• Five-plus years developing C/C++ projects or industry software
• Experience developing Security Information and Event Management systems
• Knowledge of databases, data warehouses, and data mining
• Hands-on PostgreSQL or ClickHouse experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar field
