Supply Chain Data Analytics Intern

Analyze supply chain data with Hitachi Rail Canada Inc. in a hybrid Toronto internship using SAP and Microsoft Excel. Build dashboards supporting decisions.

This full-time Supply Chain Intern placement runs January through December 2027. You will support procurement, materials management, planning, and logistics through reporting, analysis, process improvement, and operational coordination. The work includes identifying trends, exceptions, risks, root causes, and improvement opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze SAP and internal data for trends, exceptions, and risks
• Develop recurring reports and dashboards using Excel and SAP
• Automate supply chain metrics to improve reporting reliability
• Coordinate forecast management and component forecast inputs
• Support procurement, materials, planning, and logistics operations

Requirements:

• Pursuing or recently completing a relevant post-secondary program
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with large datasets
• Advanced Excel skills, including formulas, pivots, and lookups
• Experience with Power Query, Power BI, or SAP is an asset
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
