Medical Office Assistant Diagnostic Imaging

Use medical office expertise and customer service to support diagnostic imaging patients at Mayfair Diagnostics, working two weekly days in Cochrane.

As a Diagnostic Imaging Assistant and Pain Therapy Tech Assistant, you will provide reception and clinical support for patients, technologists, and radiologists. The part-time schedule includes 7.5-hour shifts, with additional shifts available at Calgary locations. Duties include appointment booking, confidential records, payments, telephone inquiries, reports, supplies, and examination-room readiness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Answer calls, screen inquiries, and relay messages
• Schedule examinations by telephone or in person
• Receive payments and prepare clinic deposits
• Assist with sterile tray preparation and patient forms
• Clean rooms, probes, equipment, and examination areas

Requirements:

• Required certification as a medical office professional
• Medical terminology and anatomy knowledge
• Excellent face-to-face customer service experience within Mayfair clinics
• Computer and keyboarding proficiency with 45 words per minute
• Flexible availability and possible travel to Calgary clinics
