Assistant Grocery Store Manager

Lead grocery operations with customer service, inventory management, and supervisory expertise as an Assistant Food Store Manager in Warman, SK. This is a full-time temporary appointment.

Saskatoon Co-op seeks an Assistant Food Store Manager for its Warman Food Store, for up to six months with potential permanence. You will coordinate grocery activities, support budgeted goals, and supervise merchandise handling. The position requires leadership, administration, communication, and customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide efficient, courteous service and settle customer complaints
• Coordinate grocery operations, schedules, promotions, and displays
• Procure merchandise and maintain accurate inventory practices
• Process invoices, claims, reports, transfers, and markdown records
• Supervise receiving, stocking, housekeeping, equipment, and merchandise security

Requirements:

• Five years’ Saskatoon Co-op Food Division experience
• One year’s experience in a functional supervisory role
• Grade 12 diploma or equivalent education
• Six months’ administrative procedures experience, including office paperwork
• Leadership, communication, customer service, and flexible availability
