Casual Nursing Clinical Faculty

Bring medical/surgical nursing expertise to Yorkville University as Casual Clinical Faculty in hospital settings across the Moncton/Sussex area. Guide students through clinical practice.

Reporting to the Associate Dean, you will teach clinical courses in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program. Support learners applying nursing knowledge and skills in medical/surgical settings. Follow approved syllabi, respond to learning needs, and evaluate performance consistently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide in-person teaching on medical/surgical clinical units
• Follow approved syllabi and established program expectations
• Adapt guidance to individual student learning needs
• Assess and document student performance consistently
• Address clinical learning concerns promptly and appropriately

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse with current nursing registration
• Relevant Canadian medical/surgical nursing practice experience
• Clear communication and constructive feedback skills
• Commitment to supportive, learner-centred clinical teaching
• Current nursing knowledge and professional currency
