Process Plant Operator 3 Sundre

Operate process equipment independently in Sundre, Alberta, supporting safe fractionation and tank farm operations for AltaGas.

AltaGas seeks an Operator 3 for its Enerchem Partnership team, reporting to the Assistant Plant Manager. You will support reliable plant and yard operations while expanding technical and process knowledge. The work includes chemical systems, product movement, and operational transitions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete plant and chemical logs, maintenance, sampling, and laboratory testing
• Monitor chemical flow rates and troubleshoot chemical pumps
• Operate towers, heat exchangers, condensers, reboilers, and pumps
• Transition the plant between recycle and production modes
• Support truck loading, unloading, and required documentation

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Process equipment, pump, tank, piping, or transfer experience is an asset
• Chemical systems experience is an asset
• 4th or 5th Class Power Engineering certification is an asset
